Paging Mr Soros.. Paging Mr Soros
The guy's got tons of money, right??

There are lots of unemployed people.. and they have the "spare time"

Why not charter buses LOTS OF THEM, and round up as many unemployed people as possible to caravan to DC.. They would not be able to afford it on their own, but what a demonstration that would be..

The local papers tell of the layoffs, but unless you go online, the dots do not get connected..

Just like the 500 pairs of boots... Busload after busload of unemployed and angry people would make a hell of a statement, AND unlike the boots, those people would network with each other and they would give interviews, and they would talk to people on the streets..

3. Last Day of the Republican Convention
They chose a very late date for their convention for political purpose (and to keep the dud off the debating stage with the Democrat), and so I could not think of a better time for it than the last day of the convention or a better place than NYC.

6. My guess is he is all show and no dough
If there is no return for him then I doubt he'll spend the cash.

Rich people stay that way by spending for profit and not loss.
