Military in violation of Congressional approval?
CNN just commented about a new "temporary" troop deployment of 30,000 troops to Iraq. Then just casually mentioned, before breaking, that the Army was already in violation of the Congressional approval for this war, over-extending the deployment already by over 11,000 troops more than were authorized.

Now, back to happy news.

WTF? Rules and laws just don't matter with these guys? WHAT THE BLOODY HELL? When does the impeachment start? This is just getting effing ridiculous. Impeach CNN with him.

1. They were just talking
about cutting the troops by 25,000 a few weeks ago, because things were going so well.

2. Shirking our responsibility
I don't get this one. We democrats are all naturally mad about the war. However, why do we continue to send representatives up there that allow these conservatives to usurp the Constutition. The Constutition states that the power to make war lies with the congress. But instead of our elected officials fulfilling their responsibilities they passed the buck. What they should have done was call for a decleration of war as the Constitution mandates and then let these republicans, who are always so about the Constitution explain why in this case the Constitution did not apply. Instead we allowed these Republicans to once again trample the document without holding them accountable.
