3. Its easy to be for war...

When you have no expectations of being the ones doing the fighting. It's just a big video game, with unlimited lives. Die, wait 20 seconds, and respawn.

Speak to someone who knows, first hand, about the messy and distasteful exigencies of combat and , by and large, you get a far different take on things. Except, of course, those who have been driven mad by the experience.

5. At the BushCo protest in Dallas

We got a garden of fingers flung our way, mostly by military age boys. They'd flip us off and yell "You Suck!" because they are so eloquent. I'd always tell them to enlist in the armed services where they could prove their convictions. I had a few applications for military service printed out, and gave those out until they were gone. Their response? "You Suck!"
