I've always appreciated PJ as a writer, even if I disagreed with most of his (conservative) opinions.

This is a good interview. He says kind words about Hunter S. Thompson (obviously) but also Michael Moore and Al Franken. And he calls Coulter crazy.

And yes, he's the kind of conservative a centrist could love.

But he has fed the beast, fellated the beast, made the Beast's bed and turned back the covers (not to mention put a mint on the Beast's pillow).

So I cannot stand him anymore. That he "knew not what he did" with regard to the impending destruction of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, is no excuse.

2. I knew PJ when he was a liberal

We were both "staff members" of an underground newspaper in Baltimore called Harry back in the 60's. I can only say that I am very glad that I never took whatever it was he took to change him so abruptly and completely. My personal theory is that he got off on kinky Repub sex.
