(Minneapolis) Star Tribune endorses Kerry

The Star Tribune is endorsing John Kerry, saying he can restore fiscal responsibility and international cooperation that have been lacking under President Bush.

The endorsement included sharp criticism of Bush's term, saying he has risked the United States' ability to lead in the world, protect its citizens at home, and preserve liberties. Bush has used shifting justifications for the war in Iraq, the newspaper said, and "has governed with mendacity and secrecy at home as well."

Now we have to wait until, I believe, October 31 to see if the St Paul Pioneer Press will not be fooled again and endorse Kerry too.
