First few paragraphs translated for the few of you who don't speak norwegian. ;)

His father is born on may 17th (Norways national day), but he himself is born on the 4th of july, in the US. Now, Knut D. Flottorp uses his right to vote in the presidential election for the first time.

And he's not alone: Never before has so many american citizens in Norway showed such a great intrest for a presidential election, as this years duel between George W. Bush and John Kerry.

- I think at least 3500 people are voting in Norway this year. This is 7 times more than 4 years ago, says Olee J. Olsen Jr., the leader for Democrats Abroad Norway.

Also Kenneth C. Burton from Republicans Abroad Norway has noticed the increased intrest for this election.

The enthusiasm is huge - and it's because the two sides are so strongly opposed on the issues of the Iraq war and Bush's leadership, says Kenneth C. Burton in Republicans Abroad Norway, who alone has registered 300 new voters.

Democrats in Norway however, has registered over 1100.

3500 people may not seem like a lot of people. But Norway is a small country and if it's happening here, it's probably happening all over the world. Looks like the vast majority of them are voting for Kerry as well, since the news coverage over here is vastly more fair and balanced (to use that term properly, for once) in Europe compared to the US.
