Credibility check: Bush's nomination acceptance speech (from 2000)
Speech from 2000 Leaves 4 Year-Long Trail of Hollow Promises

Washington, D.C. - On the anniversary of George W. Bush's acceptance of the 2000 Republican Presidential nomination the Democratic National Committee offers a few of the most glaring examples of promises made four years ago in that campaign speech regarding our future, our children, and our troops, that were promises broken while Bush has been in office. As George W. Bush reflects on his words from four years ago, he should pay close attention to the ones he failed to live up to.

2. No, it's relevent
He is running on his record on how well everything is and how effective everything he has done. Cheney for instance just the other day mentioned that the tax cuts turned the economy around... (Like a boat anchor - straight down).
