Kristof wants Bush to dump Cheney, Bush reads his editorials
and always does the opposite, so he figures Cheney is now guaranteed a spot on the ticket, and he won't have to contend with reasonable boring Kerry, and he will have more readers.

1. With Powell, the South would turn against Bush...
and he would lose anyway. With Guiliani, the Southerners would think he was a New York Jew and he would lose. With Condi, they would think that he's shtupping her and he would lose.

4. Yep. Southern racists have been the backbone of GOP since Nixon's era.

2. Suppose fuCheney dumps Bush and gets McCain for President
McCain said he wouldn't be a VP candidate. I haven't heard him say that he wouldn't run for president, if asked.

Of course, fuCheney is widely despised by ordinary citizens. But the CEOs love him, and that's what counts in fascist America.

3. Just Don't Call Bush A Liar...It Hurts His Feelings!
Kristoff is so full of himself.
Bush himself admits he doesn't read anything deeper than "Beetle Bailey!"
Hey, that explains it!

5. Y'all missed the point. This was a criticism of Bush/a subtle one
and quite clever.
