Right wing money flood in Wisconsin recalls
....................

I've been watching summer reruns and talk shows with my partner and Westie from my little Minneapolis home. Lately, we keep seeing the same political attack ad. It's not very well produced, but we see it a lot. It is a right wing attack ad against Shelly Moore, the Democratic candidate running against Sheila Harsdorf in the District 10 State Senate recall election.

The Minneapolis-St. Paul media market is the 16th largest in the country, almost twice as big as the largest media market in Wisconsin (38th ranked Milwaukee-Racine). It spills over into the western Wisconsin counties that make up Wisconsin's 10th Senate district. To influence this rural state senate race, the Wisconsin Club for Growth is buying attack ads in one of the larger media markets in the country weeks before the election.

******edit to add....YOU can help the recall election by supporting Shelly Moore and other Dem candidates. Give us a fighting chance and pass this around.

4. It's important to note that we need to win 12 races against the Republicans in 2 months.
We need a net gain of 3 seats and there are fake Democrats in all 9 races.

6. Wisconsin Republicans hoping to do open primary raid-sending voters to fake Dem against King
Hi. I'm brand new and can't start a new thread. But I want people to know this is happening and they need to help Jessica King in Wisconsin. There's a link to help her in the post plus a link to the handbill the local yokels are passing around. -blue

Open primary raid attempt in Wisconsin: Republicans sending conservatives to fake candidate Buckstaff in Hopper’s district

Republicans in Hopper’s district are being told to vote for “Pro-Wisconsin” fake candidate Buckstaff in the Democratic primary against Jessica King with a new flyer. They will be attempting what’s called an “open primary raid” and there is nothing to stop them from doing so.

It’s something I feared back on June 12 after Kelly Steele wrote about it and after I learned about DeMint’s 2010 primary raid in South Carolina....

7. Bless your spirit
but these recalls were doomed from day 1, and I said so right when they were announced. The elections in WI are a joke. What possible good can come from re-running them? If by some miracle the Dems can overcome the fascist media onslaught, then 10s of thousands of them will arrive at the polls on recall day and find out that they're no longer eligible to vote. If by some remote chance THAT's not enough, then the crooked GOP election officials will "find" as many votes as they need. If that's still not enough to keep the repukes in power, they will "challenge" the results and eventually get their case to the WI supreme court. Guess how that will come out.

Your intention is admirable, but futile. Sorry for your frustration.

8. By the way, why isn't the president campaigning for the Dems?
either he is so detested by the base that his presence will hurt the candidates instead of help them, or he doesn't care who wins.
