Helps with last comment on brain box size. It would not be how much you think, but what you think on that would be the better or worse. So Caligula could be an animal by following instinct, not by brain size. From that, ideas of thought constraints on behavior are valued, that is a big part of Greek culture also, ideas of the thinking man. Although some think that means only thinking and make anything fun and impulsive bad, leading to spock culture of no emotion.
So it is not brain box that defines forbidden fruit, and the animal side without heart becomes the bad.
Thanks for the counter argument, I don't agree that having smarts is the forbidden fruit, I think it is how you use it, since judging people by groups that are actually the same, except maybe for a skin color or cultural tradition, they are the same, all people, when looking through heart, so think the fruit of knowledge of good and evil is judgment without smarts or heart, so that forbidden fruit is not that smart, and not about brain box.
Caligula failing was lack of caring. Or he did not want to be emperor and so got lots of bad press, depends if the reports of his cruelty were accurate. Depends if he used coercion to get people to watch his expressions.
Another reason not really worrying if things are read or not is important, another good point. However apposing censorship is different then worrying if your stuff is read. It could be wanting to see many expressions of many people. Or thinking people should be able to freely express their thoughts and feelings.
I am due beer and travel money, so I can watch many people express talents and also to have conversations with people, but not by control or coercion.
Within those concepts, here is the tipping point.
