a return to the Labour Party's original values.

I don't agree with him, however, on the merits of decentralisation of government at all. It leads to the maintenance of infrastructures on the basis of post-codes, and to empire-building by the council chiefs. And what on earth does he mean by: 'Giving parents real power?' If it's about education, it smacks of the right-wing lies about wanting to give people greater choice. They want government to govern in all matters, and to do so sensitively and professionally. Full-stop. Dont call us.We'll call you.
