“Values Voters”? Which VALUES are those? …and here comes Sarah!
click through to read the snarky captions next to the photos of the RW bigwigs heading off to hobnob at the Values Voter Summit.

What a line-up! Even our two favorite barbies - Sarah AND Carrie! Is there anyone out there that is game to attend this? Or has the stomach for it? “Values Voters” indeed….

.

* Rep. Michele Bachmann about the only person that can make sarah Palin seem intelligent Dr. Ted Baehr Ted Baehr is Founder and Publisher of Movieguide® and Chairman of the Christian Film & Television Commission®, as well as a noted critic, educator, lecturer, and media pundit. His life’s purpose is to be used of God to redeem the values of the media while educating audiences on how to use discernment in selecting their entertainment.
* Here is a lovely 7 Mountains quote by Baehr, ““He who controls the media controls the culture” - Ted Baehr.

Steven Baldwin the picture really kind of says it all don’t ya think?
* Gary Bauer the very odd looking son-in-law of Rushdoony, popularly known as the Grandfather of Dominionism
* Glenn Beck Is anyone else disturbed by the fact that there are enough people out there who think that Beck even has enough common sense to not only write a book about it - but hit #1 on Amazon AND the NY Times Bestseller list? Now THAT’s scary!

snip

* Dr. Ergun Caner Muslim turned PD, calls President Obama an ‘infidel’, loves, loves, loves Sarah Palin! Thinks we need to ‘arm’ kids for battle…nice
* Rep. Eric Cantor boring PD…whatever happend to that new GOP Club he and his friends started - the Council for a New America? That’s just how much pizzaz he has…none. It has dropped off the radar.
* Sen. Tom Coburn Senator John Ensigns personal gynecologist and confidante
* Sen. John Cornyn Senator COWBOY (and this was a real honest to God campaign video that he approved - “Doin’ the Lord’s work for Texas”…PuLEASE! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IA4DiZasp2U
snip

* Gov. Sarah Palin What? A speaking engagement? Who woulda thunk?
snip
* Gov. Rick Perry Palin’s seccessionist pal and all around boob
* Carrie Prejean Malibu Barbie…why in the hell is she even a speaker? Of course that can be asked about everyone of these players…what am I thinking?
snip
* Phyllis Schlafly The woman who made a career out of crusading against women who have careers - while leaving her children to be cared by others, while she chastised working mothers for not being home with their children - and made a very handsome living along the way. Can you say hyp-o-crite?
* Gary Sinise I will never watch CSI again…
* Ben Stein “Love of God and compassion and empathy leads you to a very glorious place, and science leads you to killing people.” He is pro-life, anti-evolution, smug and lives between Malibu, CA and Sandpoint, Idaho…HEY! Sarah Palin’s hometown…and the once hub of the most racist neo-nazis in America. Interesting for a man whose Jewish relatives suffered under Hitler.
* Mark Steyn “Steyn, a self-styled ‘right-wing bastard,’ violates everyone’s sense of good taste.” He is a canadian mouth piece that pokes his crass and vulgar opinions into U.S. politics. For example, he states he is attracted to Sarah Palin’s “naughty librarian vibe”. TMI! (Too much information)
* Fred Thompson Worst DA on Law & Order, and cannot think outside a script…laughable
* Eduardo Verastegui A Mexican actor (uh-oh Lou Dobbs); anti-choice; anti-gay (and he is so pretty too!); and again - why is he speaking?
* Don Wildmon Wildmon founded the National Federation for Decency in 1977, and it was renamed the American Family Association in 1988. Plainly, he is a prude and speaks out against everything and anything he deems offensive such as TV shows like MASH, Three’s Company and Dallas all of yesteryear, Madonna, and on and on. He was a Methodist Pastor and left the pastoral ministry to campaign against pornography and violence in the media. Just look at the guy…

And as an added bonus…just to make sure that they stir the FEAR and PARANOIA in the sheeples that attend they are going to have a special preview screening of their movie “33 Minutes”. I have attached their 2 minute trailer for you…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qV_egtMs4sU

An event that any red-blooded bigoted, intolerant, rascist, anti-choice, anti-feminist, Poltical Dominionist, End Times believer, born-again evangelical has just got to put on their calendars as a MUST ATTEND!

So when anyone tells you that these extremists aren’t rallying to aggressively take back seats in 2010 and relentlessly pursuit the White House in 2012…you had better tell them to WAKE UP! This is no joke, even if they are individually….

1. "Values Voters" my ass. Let's call them what they are:
"Wedge Issue Voters". They never offer any solutions to problems; they only create "problems" out of wholecloth. The only way they can get into and maintain power is to create divisions.

These are the very people who would trespass into your back yard to steal the sheets of your clothesline and the wood off the side of your shed to go light a cross in someone else's yard they don't know and beat them with a Bible they don't read.

Haven't the rest of us had enough of this screaming, whining, bitching minority's antics yet?

2. I am so ashamed of myself. My first thought on reading this list was...
"Damn, wouldn't the opening plenary be a FABULOUS time and place for a meteor to hit the earth?"

I'm so ashamed.

repentantly,
Bright
