But instead of following a measured strategy, they went berserk. On the one hand, the media treated her as a sex object. The New York Times led the way in painting Palin as a glamour-puss in go-go boots you were more likely to find in an Anchorage lap-dancing club than the Alaska governor's office.

Why you would even post any article that labels "liberal" disdainfully and calls Obama supporters "berserkers" is beyond me.
This is an article that belongs over at Free Republic for the knuckle-draggers over there to drool over.

He actually considers himself to be a leftie, but his credibility on that front got shot to pieces when he supported the Iraq war. Since then he has been regularly been making vitrolic attacks on his former allies at every availiable opportunity.

For more on that subject there is his book What's Left but that's a very poor book indeed that tells you more much more about the author then it does about the left.
