2. So does this mean that Boondocks endorses Dean?
It could mean they endorse Clark? I guess it depends on who you think is a cooler superhero. J/K

I love that comic so much it is on of the few reasons that I actually read my college's newspaper.

3. You better keep subscribing
to your colleges paper. Cause that strip is being pulled from most dailys. It's been gone from mine for a few years now.

I get it delivered by email now. It's a shame too. Because it's a wonderful strip. Damned conservatives hate to see anyone enjoy themselves. They can't just skip the thing, that have to prevent everyone else from enjoying it too.

5. the Globe runs it
Boston Globe although I think Boondocks does get a little too personal with the attacks and I would not miss it if it got pulled.

2 or 3 weeks of trying to find a mate for Condoleezza Rice is not cool at all. her life is her business.

thats something repukes would do to good dems.

9. A Boondock too far???
Personally, bearing in mind who the strip is satirising, I think that the Boondocks - much as I love it - is too nice sometimes.

Coming from the land of the shock-jocks, the Boondocks seems pretty soft-centred.

Joey would have to be the Penguin and Sharpton the Joker

Both super anti-heroes and whiners. :nopity:

7. The Villians
Edited on Sat Jan-17-04 04:45 PM by NeoProgressive
The Scarecrow = Karl Rove (mind control, intimidation)
Lex Luthor = Dick Cheney (criminal mastermind, corporate thug)
The Penguin = George H. W. Bush (aristocratic criminal)
The Toyman = George W. Bush (self-explanatory)
The Joker = Donald Rumsfeld (insane, sardonic bastard)
Braniac = Paul Wolfowitz (cold, calculating, destroyer of planets)
Darkseid = Richard Perle ("Prince of Darkness", Evil mastermind, world conqueror)
Granny Goodness = Barbara Bush (uncanny similarity!)
Mr. Freeze = Arnold Schwarzenegger (no, really!)
Poison Ivy = Catherine Harris (ice cold bitch)
