'There are no kind words for FEMA'
By Peter Rugg of the Muscatine Journal

<snip> There are no kind words for FEMA from anyone I meet, and at this point it has nothing to do with whether it failed the citizens of New Orleans in the evacuation from Katrina, or of the rebuilding effort since.

Now it is a question of where the money is. FEMA has reportedly issued millions of dollars to help the people whose houses, or in worst case, family members, were washed away in the rising waters of the Gulf Coast, but I didn't meet anyone who'd received a check yet. What you do hear is the same worry, repeated in different variations from person to person. <snip>
