End of the Bush Era
The Bush Era is over. The sooner politicians in both parties realize that, the better for them -- and the country.

4. EJ Dionne is always perceptive
Bush had an opportunity to achieve relative "near greatness" but he pissed it away to follow Grover Norquist, the Neocons, and the "Have Mores" to go down in history with James Buchanan and other mediocrities.

6. Good article.
I would bet my life that the repukes will not heed any advice.

As far as they're concerned, it's full speed ahead, faster.

I truly hope this is the end of the repuke party & conservatives once and for all.

We now, finally and unfortunately, have ample evidence of the utter failure of their greed/no government/fundamentalist/faith-based ideas.

Unfortunately, a lot of US also drowned with that baby in the bathwater.

Maybe the amerikkkan sheeple will finally get it that the DEMOCRATIC Party alone - since we don't have a cold day in hell chance of electing anything approaching a socialist bent for the foreseeable future - stands for what is THEIR concerns.
