Dead Soldier's Mom Arrested After Interrupting Laura Bush

HAMILTON, N.J. -- A Hopewell woman whose son was killed while serving in Iraq was arrested Thursday after she interrupted a campaign speech by first lady Laura Bush.

Sue Niederer had refused to leave the rally and demanded to know why her son was killed in Iraq. She was eventually escorted from the rally site, a local firehouse, by police.

Niederer wore a T-shirt that bore the words "President Bush You Killed My Son" and a picture of her son, Army 1st Lt. Seth Dvorin.

Mrs. Bush should have ditched her prepared text to offer sincerest condolences to that woman and her family, and should have thanked that woman for her son's ultimate sacrifice for all of us. Mrs. Bush should then have parroted her husband's insistence that we are fighting for our freedoms in Iraq, and that our brave soldiers are not dieing in vain.

Mrs. Bush showed no sense, no poise, and, most importantly, no compassion.

I hope that this is all over the news!

13. Sue Niederer was interviewed

by Deborah Norville the other day - along with a pro-chimp father who'd also lost a son in Iraq. Ms. Niederer looked devastated by the ordeal she's been through. This woman deserves some answers, and to have been dragged off and arrested is simply unconscienable.

This would be a PR disaster for chimp if the networks covered it, but I'm not holding my breath.
