His voice full of amused contempt, U.S. District Judge Denny Chin refused Fox News's request for an injunction against author and comedian Al Franken's new book on Friday. "There are hard cases and there are easy cases," said Chin. "This is an easy case. The case is wholly without merit both factually and legally…It is ironic that a media company that should seek to protect the First Amendment is instead seeking to undermine it."

This article did provide a lot more detail than others in the mainstream media. I certainly hope that Franken and his lawyers file for dismissal and go after Faux News for their legal fees. This was a totally frivolous lawsuit. And it would be great to see them lose that stinking trademark which is a farce.

Good going Al Franken! He sure knows how to play and beat the right wing, it's easy call them on their lies. They fall for that trap each time. They have no defense of their lies, because they are liars who get trapped up in their layers of lies. Can't keep their heads on straight. I can see the steam rising out of O''Reilly's ears now. In Garrison Keillor's column for Time magazine this past week (about how Minnesotans are laughing at California -- because they know how badly the election of an action-hero governor quickly turns out), Keillor calls the talking heads at Fox "aging adolescents" who ejoy "peeing in the political swimming pool." That sounds like a more accurate slogan for Faux, to me, than "fair and balanced"!
