fraud that is occurring in (where else?) Florida in the name of vouchers. Jeb & Co. have found a new conduit to their wealthy friends right thru our schools. It would be a blessing if this were an issue, however, with all else thats going on, it is just a whisper. Candidates and loyal Dems have their hands full TRYING to put out all the fires started by the dirt bags in control.

4. Ardee, I'll share my point woth you.

As much as you and i hate our current resident, his puppet-masters and their policies - GW Bush is our president. He is our president because the election was close enough for repugs to manipulate it. (I've read and am a fan of the Black Box Voting effort. I emailed everyone i knew about VNS being shut down and about the three San Antonio election "victories" each involving 18181 or 81818 votes. I too am appalled by the media's lapdog attitude in going after our resident.) The truth is that if America had the balls of the British, BushCo would be out of work and/or out of office by now. You and i, Ardee, are residents of a country populated with lazy, uninformed, selfish people.

I think this article is a tiny barometer that indicates that this unhealthy population is getting well. I haven't given up to yet and i hope you haven't either. I have adopted a particular point of view regarding this country and why it tolerates GW Bush. We are/were soft and weak - ripe for fascists. Just like the human body, it has taken time for this country to overcome BushCo's fascist infection and get back into good enough shape to retake this great country. I want to see the day very soon when i can wear a flag or wave it or pledge to it without feeling sick. I think this article is a great sign because it is a reflection of the state of health in America.

5. Yes we do indeed share those sentiments

but the simple facts are that Bush ,while spouting about his commitment to education as symbolised by his "No Child Left Behind, gutted the bill by defunding it, outraging Ted Kennedy who was suckered by Bush, and no one cares.....well noone but you and I apparently.

There exists a longish list of Bush lies, distortions, criminal negligence, violations of the letter and the spirit of the laws of this land, yet we here nothing from the democrats at all.......wonder why? If the public appears to be so solidly behind this reprehensible administration perhaps it is because the democratic leadership has left them no rallying point........wonder why? When Nader accurately blasts the democrats for this he is branded as a GOP agent or self serving egomaniac, this despite a record of public service that shames us all here....wonder why?

I still have faith in my fellow americans, thought the vichy dmeocrats who insist that they have all moved to the right of Atilla do not....wonder why? I believe that most folks are far too busy with work, kids, the lawn and all to spend a lot of time on their duty to democracy, this is a pity but it is human nature after all.These folks depend upon their elected politicos to let them know what the issues are and what is best for them, I do not apporve but I believe this is the case. This is why I decry the complicity through inaction that our leadership of the democratic party has shown, this is why i see this as such a betrayal.

This is also why I have chosen to work for the ascendancy of a third party force in this nation to assume the mantle of opposition that was once the obligation and the duty of the democratic party!
