Bush's Ratings Erode as Anti-Terror Fighter
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Public confidence in President Bush's ability to fight terrorism has significantly eroded, in a challenge to his re-election campaign as a "war president," according to a poll released on Monday.
The ABC News/Washington Post poll also found, for the first time, that more than half of Americans believe the Iraq war was not worth fighting.

The poll's findings could spell trouble for Bush, whose ratings in the anti-terrorism fight have been one of his strongest suits as he seeks re-election on a national-security platform.

4. Stick a fork in them. They're done.
About the only thing that's going to save them now is martial law or a stolen election. So we still need to stay on our toes.

8. Yep.
I don't generally go in for conspiracy crap. But the thought of what "they" might do to maintain power concerns me.

5. Wasn't there a Zogby poll
last week that said people are paying less attention to the war but generally support it? The ebb and flow of the polls is an indicator of just how strange these times really are.

7. Actually it is an indicator of how irrelevant the polls are.
There is only one poll that counts...the polling place. I will save my jumping and fork sticking for the final outcome.

10. Well hell. Get in their faces with things.
There are millions of undecided/uninterested voters out there. How'bout every one here commit themselves to finding some of these voters every week and getting them to commit to vote. Not vote for our guy, just vote.

I would bet that anyone who got interested enough in the facts would pull a lever for the right(not Right-wing) choice

11. It Could Be A While Before They Get To Go Back to Texas
They need to visit the Hague first. They may be seeing quite a bit of this place:

I am sure they will be treated far more humanely than many of THEIR prisoners have been.
