Crist Opens Inquiry Into Price Of Gasoline (Fl Attorney General)

TALLAHASSEE - Tired of ``lame'' excuses and few answers about skyrocketing gasoline prices, Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist launched a formal investigation Tuesday, issuing subpoenas to eight of the nation's largest oil companies.
``You get to a point where enough is enough,'' Crist said. ``We've tried to do it the nice way,'' but that only produced excuses, not answers.

As part of the antitrust investigation, Crist wants records relating to the cost of acquisition, production, and inventory and the wholesale and retail pricing of gasoline. The companies have until June 30 to respond..........

While watching Cbs' piece last night as to oil co. getting 65 mil for security upgrades I noted that the companies refused comment and referred the journalist to the American Oil Inst. whose rep referred her/him to the DHS. IMHO this is proof in itself of illegal collusion on the part of the seven sisters(big oil).
I mean by that , these corps are sharing propaganda services and expenses for their spin. I wonder what other secrets a real digger could find in the AOI records.
