WASHINGTON, April 13 (Reuters) - President George W. Bush said on Tuesday he is not worried voters will choose to oust him in the November election and said he believed Americans would stand behind him on Iraq despite rising bloodshed.

Asked in a news conference if he would see the Iraq war as worthwhile even if he lost his job because of it, Bush replied, "I don't plan on losing my job."

"I believe they will stay with me," the president said of American voters.

So far more than 670 U.S. troops have died in the Iraq conflict. Between 4,000 and 6,000 Iraqi military have died and between 8,000 and 10,000 civilians have lost their lives.

(i truly believe)is that a few minutes into the Q&A... even the "easy Americans" didn't buy it. It was very easy to cheer on GWuckYa when 9/11 occurred and plastic flags were only 3.99 at wal-mart but the lowest common denominator of America is waking up!
