Mosley to underwrite fight against Murdoch (Phone Hacking)
Source: The Independent

Max Mosley, the motor-racing millionaire awarded £60,000 in damages over News of the World claims that he took part in a Nazi orgy, is bankrolling phone-hacking victims' fight against the tabloid.

He has agreed to underwrite the legal costs of an unknown number of people who claim the newspaper eavesdropped on their mobile-phone messages

1. He is well known in the Formula One circuit (in a very negative sense)

Unfortunately, when compared to Mosley, Murdoch looks like a Dalai Lama. You don't want to like this pos.

He was finally pushed to resign from the FIA (International Federation of Motorsports) over a video that surfaced (ironically around the time Prince Harry's Nazi costume fiasco) of him and 5 prostitutes dressed as Nazi soldiers. The guy is a piece of work. He damaged the image of the Formula One circuit based on lots of questionable rules, statements and controversial decisions made while he was in the FIA. It took a lot to get rid of him and finally this video was the beginning of the end for him in motor sports. He only resigned cause BMW and a few other F1 Teams threatened to leave and form their own circuit. He simply did not want to leave.

3. It is all about money.

I guess, Murdoch was losing money in F1 (my opinion) and maybe spied on him. It takes a big fish to get rid of one fish.

He was known for being a nasty person and a huge nazi sympathizer but it wasn't until he started ruining F1 that they pushed him away. Like I said, it was not the scandal that made him leave, but the teams threatening to leave the circuit. The "prostitute" circus, only help things move along to further ruin his name... really... lol! It still makes no sense to me seen a person like Mosley around "respectable" people and managing a reputable federation until of course, you follow the money.

4. Fun fact: Max Mosley is the son of Sir Oswald Mosley.
Who was leader of the British Union of Fascists (the blackshirts). Hitler and Josef and Magda Göbbels were the only guests at the wedding of Mosley's parents. Given his family background, a few years back when photos came out of him in a brothel, being tied up and whipped by women in quasi-military uniforms, the News of the World ran with the story "Mosley in Nazi Orgy Shocker"; Mosley sued for breach of privacy and won £60k.

10.  Murdock is a stain on democracy
In a true democracy that evil man would be deported and all his money given to the poor.
