BEIJING (MarketWatch) -- General Electric Co. (GE 16.67, -0.04, -0.24%) said Tuesday it plans to invest more than $2 billion through 2012 to boost research and development in China and fund new local joint ventures in areas such as technology and financial services

And they claim it will create jobs in the US. How many jobs lost since the plants, etc. are constructed over there? And what if the entire investment were made in the US?

1. Hay if we just let them pollute all they wanted and we would work for $2 a day and not tax them,
they would invest here too XD

2. One more reason not to extend the tax cuts.
We have to remind everyone that it was boner that pushed for the tax cuts in the first place and he agreed to the expiration of them.
Remind him of that all the time.
