Americans have a right to be “angry,” but their frustration should be leveled at Republicans who were at the helm when the Great Recession got underway, said Democratic Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday.
When President Obama took office, the nation had lost 3 million jobs in the previous six months. The nation lost another 3 million in the six months immediately after Obama took office, said Biden.
He argued that Obama’s ecomomic policies are beginning to pay off, noting the economy has grown in the past four successive quarters.
“We’ve begun to turn things around,” said Biden.
