1. Wow!
Let's just hope the rest of the "liberal" media reports this. My guess is that the Washington Post will refute it and NBC won't carry the story.

3. Bet tthey'll blame Clinton
Bush, too, but the Republicans on the panel will try to have the report worded so that most of the blame falls on Clinton.

4. Of course it could have been prevented. Which president will
get blamed is the question. More than likely, they'll say both Clinton and Bush is to blame. Which is bullshit.

6. Clarke covers this by saying that the media and the repugs
were to blame for the 'wag the dog' situation that kept President Clinton from fighting terrorism as much as he wanted.

The repugs that pushed impeachment supported the terrorists.

5. Yup, it will be Clinton's fault.
that is my feeling also. This panel is worthless with exception of Richard BenViste and Jamie Gorelick. Media of course will be no help and will do everything it can to blame Clinton and boost Bush--poor widdle boy "Inherited" a problem that Clinton did not clean up.

Sorry to be so jaded, but I think it is a justified and honest look at the reality of how these things have gonve over the past three years. When these journalists laughed their heads off over Bush's slideshow that made fun of his lying and the deaths of all our soldiers for nothing but his greed, that clinched it for me.

We have a hard time finding one single honest man that is willing to tell it to the American people as it is, instead of being scared and intimidated by Rove and the Bush machine.

Clarke has reported that someone in the WH was cursing him down because of his book and his testimony and TV appearances, and threatened that he (Clarke) will never earn another dollar in Washington. It's how Bush and his minions are. Revenge takes precedence over the people's welfare in this country.

There you have it. All scared for their salaries--these journalists--I could almost add these congressional Democrats also--although there are a few who are not so ingrained that they are intimidated.

Not because it's Drudge, but because it's about a story that hasn't been published yet, that's about a conclusion that hasn't been come to yet.

When Newsweek does put on its Great Carnac hat, feel free to repost as LBN.

In the meantime, there's always GD.
