Lincoln’s emissions vote riles activists - Group targets her for defeat
Source: Arkansas Democrat Gazette

Environmental groups traditionally friendly to Democrats this week hammered Arkansas’ U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln for her approach to climate-change policy.

Today, the League of Conservation Voters is set to name her as the first Senate member of its 2010 “dirty dozen” list of candidates it hopes to help defeat.

The league, a Washington environmental advocacy group, plans to put her name on its list because of her support of a resolution introduced by Alaska’s Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski that would block the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating greenhouse gas emissions, which are believed to contribute to a rising trend in the earth’s temperatures.

1. Good for them.
...I trust they will be allocating a similar amount of time and expense in promoting a suitable replacement?

2. I live in Ar and I will vote for whoever is running against her in the.....................
..........primary (if there is another person) and in the general election will vote Green if she is the Dem candidate. I know, I know, that the Republican will probably get elected, but we have to start somewhere. If we keep voting for these pseudo Democrats not a god damn thing will ever get accomplished.

5. Hi Pattmarty
:hi: I live in Ark too. I've been reading over the Arkansas Times blogs and they are speculating that either Bill Halter or Wes Clark may run.

3. These DLC Corporate Stooges are in for a shock.
Democrat's who act like Republicans or Corporate Whores are unwilling to think that an engaged, educated base could actually let them lose, despite the actions theses politicians exhibit.

All I can say is, "Buh Bye"

4. Fine with me. The only thing we needed her to do was to not filibuster Democratic initiatives and
she couldn't even do that. Let her go.
