Bush to speak before pregnancy support group in Indiana

NDIANAPOLIS -- Former President George W. Bush is to visit Indianapolis this spring for a fundraiser benefiting a group that assists women with unplanned pregnancies.

Bush will be the featured speaker for the Life Centers Celebration of Life event April 15 at Conseco Fieldhouse. The organization says gospel singer Sandi Patty is also scheduled to
perform.
Life Centers is an Indianapolis-based group that provides free services such as pregnancy tests, counseling and post-abortion and maternity support at eight sites in central Indiana.

Life Centers president Brian Boone says Bush was asked to speak because of his anti-abortion stances, which include signing the federal Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act into law.

I have a staunch repug brother that is so against getting welfare, unemployment, etc, etc,. until his daughter could use it, then of course it was okay because he said he has paid taxes all these year's. Hubby talked to a repug at work that feel's the same way my brother does, well wouldn't you know it that her daughter has now became pregnant & she told her to go get welfare, bunch of hypocrites.

5. Three of Indiana's five democratically

held Congress seats were taken away from republicans in 06. (Indiana has 9 congressmen) Bush's trip to Indiana has a lot more to do with returning those seats to republicans in 2010 than it has to do with Bush being pro-life. (Never mind the the three new democrats in congress are somewhat to the right of John Birch.)
