McCain Tells NEWS CENTER He Supports Robo Calls (Obama socializes with terrorists)
Source: WCSH6

(NEWS CENTER) -- In a satellite interview, Republican Presidential candidate John McCain told NEWS CENTER that he supports the robo calls that link Barack Obama and 1960s radical Bill Ayers.

The interview comes on the heels of former Secretary of State Colin Powell's endorsement of Obama. In his endorsement, Powell said McCain's campaign has used negative tactics.

McCain said in the interview with NEWS CENTER that people need to know the truth about Obama, that he socializes with terrorists. He said the calls that Mainers are receiving are truthful and meant to inform.

McCain also told NEWS CENTER that although independent studies have shown that neither his nor Obama's plan to balance the budget would work, he is ready to look at the federal budget with a fine-toothed comb and cut out unnecessary spending. He said what sets him apart from the three previous Republicans presidents that also promised to balance the budget, Presidents George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush and Ronald Reagan, is that he isn't afraid to cut spending.

1. I'm starting to truly hate the man.
He cannot be that stupid, so instead he's a lying, manipulative bastard who will do anything to get in office, even if it won't benefit anybody but him. Yes, he's a vet, yes, he was a POW but he fails to command my respect. He is vile.

14. Hating McCain
Hate is a useless and powerful emotion that is more harmful to the hater then the hatee. Try despise or pity, the man is really sick.

19. I guess the point of my post is, I don't hate
Edited on Mon Oct-20-08 08:26 AM by crim son
so what I'm feeling for McCain is pretty awful. I've pitied the shrub, disparaged his ineptitude and wished for impeachment but I haven't hated him. McCain disgusts me... maybe that's a better way to put it. Me, I don't even hate liver.

I just don't get it? Is the American electorate THAT stupid?

On the balancing the budget....we all know where he would slash the budget: anything that goes to the people.....but viva the military industrial complex and the war department.

4. He was pretty weak ...

That Robocall was pretty weak. It linked Obama to Ayer's "organization" deliberately confusing the Weather Underground with the Annenberg foundation.

They're desparate and lame. There only remaining game is guilt by association and election fraud.

8. keep up the good work, johnny!
....I think it's great that you're wasting so much time and resources on bullshit robo-calls instead of addressing the issues and concerns on the minds of most Americans....

....the more you show yourself to be petty and detached from reality, the easier it will be for Barack (the adult candidate) to whip your sorry ass come November 4th....

....you're not accepting money from the Obama campaigning to throw this race, are you?....does your buddy, general colin, support terrorists?

10. McCain's accpetance of evil and concurrent descent into fantasy is becoming truly frightening
I hope the rest of America is seeing McCain for what he truly is and not the myth that his handlers and the media have allowed to be created over the years. It's as if McCain has been possessed. Maybe he should give Palin's witch doctor a call.

13. ONCE AGAIN, McCain the assclown blithely steals Obama's proposal and platform!
"McCain also told NEWS CENTER that although independent studies have shown that neither his nor Obama's plan to balance the budget would work, he is ready to look at the federal budget with a fine-toothed comb and cut out unnecessary spending."

The man has absolutely no shame, no sense of embarrassment. Dark desperation, thy name is John McCain.

15. lol
I was talking to a republican friend of mine that was asking how I could vote for Obama as president when he is associating himself with domestic terrorists like Ayers. I feel I replied pretty good to the nonsense, thought I would spread my response...

I told him that Ayers was involved in bombing empty buildings 40 years ago when Obama was just 8 years old and he is now a Professor as the University of Illinois, teaching education. Obama served on a board with him and was at a political function that was hosted by him. I think that the ties between the University of Illinois and Ayers is much closer than the loose association with Obama. If everyone were to follow your thought process then the University of Illinois is a terrorist school. They must be teaching terrorism. We should do something about this, don't you think?

Needless to say, he changed the subject and talked about something else. He is a big fan of Palin.

17. McCain is very lucky his opponent is who he is. It would be
very, very easy to come up with an equally nasty McCain robocall. "You need to know that John McCain associates with G. Gordon Liddy, a convicted felon who wanted to shoot police officers. John McCain says he is proud to be Liddy's friend."
