Wall Street and the Bush administration’s record of financial oversight came under attack at the United Nations on Tuesday, with one world leader after another saying that market turmoil in the United States threatened the global economy.

“We must not allow the burden of the boundless greed of a few to be shouldered by all,” said President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil in an opening speech that reflected the tone of the gathering.

I heard this was Ms Palin's 'introduction' to the world. I also heard
that at her insistence, everybody had to wear name tags.

I can just see Bush the Bush introduction: "This is Vlad Putin. He has nukewlar weapons. Just look into his eyes and you can see his soul."

"We must not allow the burden of the boundless greed of a few to be shouldered by all,” We need every rep in DC to understand this.

2. I can not believe she made them wear nametags!
She should show her respect by learning the names and putting them to photos! This is I think very presumptuous of her to think that she is important enough to have the leaders of the world wear nametags for her.

4. One criticism. It should read: "....and the Bush administration's record of
financial UNDERsight came under attack....." It seems the world leaders were decidedly underwhelmed by it.

7. Can you back the claim that Palin made world leaders wear name tags up with evidence?

I heard it Monday or Tues night on Craig Ferguson's Late Late Show, and I have the videos
of those shows. Best I can do for you.

Call me cynical, but believe I have company in following political/satire/comedy. I also heard {something I cannot document at least w/out research} that Jon Stewart's show is considered by many, the reliable source for political news.

Thank you for your request.
