Rossi may get Cruz's backing for governor

Dr. Federico Cruz, director of the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department, will drop out of the race for governor and will endorse fellow Republican Dino Rossi for the nomination, sources told The Associated Press yesterday.

I thuroughly enjoyed the state GOP chair insisting that they'd have some first tier candidate to run against Gregoire (who is definately getting the nomination, sorry Ron and Phil). Every single person the chair promised bowed out virtually the next day, and we now have the 4th and 5th tier Rossi and Cruz-Urube....

And you guys thought that Carlson and Craswell were conservative nut-jobs!?
