Mexican First Lady Could Run for Office
MONTERREY, Mexico (AP) - After months of denying presidential aspirations, Mexican first lady Marta Sahagun told The Associated Press Monday she might consider a run to replace her husband.

``We'll see,'' she said. ``It will take strong reflection, and it has to make complete sense.''

Voter opinion polls for the 2006 presidential race show that Sahagun would be a strong candidate. Her husband, President Vicente Fox, is barred by law from seeking a second term.

Sahagun previously denied presidential aspirations, saying she was going to focus on supporting her husband during the rest of his term.
