2 on Thursday, to wit:

2 on Friday, to wit:

1 - killed by IED near Bacquba; 1 - killed defusing a bomb in same area

That's eight total for Wednesday (12/24), Thursday (12/25), and Friday (12/26).

When they venture forth they are shot at and blown up with roadside bombs.

This is really sad. The spin that resistance is being directed by Saddam and that it is being waged by Saddam loyalists is played out. The reality that we are entrenched in an winnable guerrilla insurgency is going to hit home to the rest of the American public over the next few months.
