Source: Toledo Blade Newspaper

A bank has filed suit seeking foreclosure on the West Toledo residence of Toledo City Councilman Joe Birmingham and his wife, Danielle.

Mr. Birmingham, a Republican, represents District 6 and is up for re-election this year.

The suit, filed Tuesday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court, said the Birminghams are in default on the mortgage payments on their house at 4558 Lewis Ave. and owe the full amount, $90,209, at 8.55 percent interest since Dec. 1. The Birminghams bought the house in 2004 for $71,858.

Mr. Birmingham, 37, a former Lucas County deputy treasurer, was sales and training manager for his brother John's business, Birmingham Limousine, until last year, when he obtained his real estate license. He said he began practicing in November.

1. Wait a minute ... Aren't Repukes supposed to be financial geniuses?
So why can't he afford to make his house payments?

Just realized there's a really interesting combination ... a city councilman with a "real estate license" ... wonder if he'll know of some places he might buy cheap and then be able to sell to the City because he "just happened to own" it ... keep a sharp eye on this guy ... just started his real estate practice in November ... ???

Hmmmmmmmmmm ...

Man has no income to speak of.

And you Can't seriously say that Bush or any of the Bushbots are financial geniuses; what they are? Pirates! They make their money by stealing, conning or otherwise confiscating the wealth of others.
