'Great Satan Park' planned

Tehran - The former US embassy in Tehran could soon see a new chapter in its troubled history, with a top Iranian commander calling for the downtown compound to be turned into a "Great Satan Park".

"We would be able to nicely show off the American crimes to citizens strolling in the park," General Mir-Faisal Bagherzadeh told the official news agency IRNA.

"The former American Den of Spies should become the park of Great Satan," said the general, who heads the Sacred Defence Foundation - an influential propaganda body set up to commemorate the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war.

Following Iran's Islamic revolution in 1979 that toppled the US-backed shah, the former US embassy was seized by Islamist students and 52 of its staff were taken hostages for 444 days.

2. Think of it as a 'fair and balanced' theme park
After all the western powers have done to screw Iran over the decades, I don't blame them one bit.

7. Really.
Too bad the US does not have an embassy to turn in to a themepark stateside,
or the drama would be thunderous. "evil satan themepark" where we could
ride through a simulated nuclear blast, watch videos of 2000 pound bombs
blowing up children and get all emotional... about whomever is evil that
day.

9. Question:
will they have a "Shah" Room? You know, the one we installed in the 50's; the Shah of Iran, with his Peacock Throne? Whow, that was magnificent. The throne was covered in jewels, Reza Pahlavi sat on it, he even held a scepter which looked like it had a huge diamond on the end.

Next to him stood the Empress (I think?), Farah Diba, with her royal diamond-covered dress.

WOW those were the days. Why can't we have those days back? People love opulence. It was all so royal.

Right, Gorgan Ahmadinejad?
