House GOP leaders hit DeLay's criticism
THE WASHINGTON TIMES

House Republican leaders said yesterday that it is unfair for outgoing Rep. Tom DeLay to say they don't have a vision or an agenda.

"I think he meant to say 'Democrats' not 'Republicans,' because Democrats lack an agenda," said Ron Bonjean, spokesman for House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert, Illinois Republican.
Mr. Bonjean, responding to Mr. DeLay's accusation yesterday in The Washington Times, said party leaders are pushing an aggressive agenda to provide economic security and homeland security.

"I was surprised to read that," said House Republican Conference Chairman Deborah Pryce, Ohio Republican. "I think it was an emotional response. ... He's dead wrong."

Mr. DeLay, Texas Republican, made the accusation after announcing that he would resign from the House. The former majority leader, who is under indictment for money laundering, said he will resign to give the party time to find a candidate for the November election.

8. You don't understand Republicans
They must defend the talking point. The talking point is sacred. All hail the talking point.

The "talking point" is that the Democratics don't have a plan. It's the talking point that must be defended at all costs. If not, the American people might begin to get the truth.

4. He told the truth for once. Other than to screw Mr. & Mrs./Ms.
America and the kiddies (and the old folks as well) they don't have an agenda.

5. Idiots! That's classic DeLay!
They wouldn't back him up and come to his defense, so he attacks them. Don't they recall having their arms twisted by him in the wee hours in order to pass the fraudulent drug bill? Don't they recall why they nicknamed him "The Slammer?" Oh, I mean "The HAMMER." The "I think he meant to say Democrats" quote is particulary amusing, in a third-grade sort of way. Hell no, it wasn't a mistake. DeLay isn't walking away with his head held high, despite the pronouncements and smiley-face mugging for the cameras. He's been disgraced and humiliated, and they way he has always done "business" it through total, unwaivering loyalty. When the Republicans distanced themselves from him, DeLay suck "FUCK YOU ALL!"

12. He might be able to do lots of work for them.
Specially after they all end up in the klink together. He could do their laundry, roll their smokes ... let's see, what else??? Oh, no, I won't go there, it's too ugly to think about.

10. ASS-CLOWN PRYCE

Congresswoman Pryce joined her central Ohio Congressional
colleagues Pat Tiberi and David Hobson, as well as Senator
George Voinovich and VA Secretary Jim Nicholson at the
groundbreaking ceremony for the new VA ambulatory clinic at
DSCC. Together, they had worked for years to impress upon
the VA the need for an expanded ambulatory care facility
in Columbus, and helped secure $95 million in construction
funding for the project

PLENTY OF NEW amputees from her immoral illegal war

13. A warning from Pryce: "He's dead wrong."
Translation: Shut up, Tom, or we'll leak all the other shit we have on you to the prosecution. And don't any of the rest of you asshats get any funny ideas about speaking up now, either. Mister DeLay was a "made man," but we'd sell him out in a second if it became necessary.
