Blair knows when he is going but date is secret
http://news.ft.com/cms/s/7cea5964-bd2d-11da-bdf6-0000779e2340.html

Tony Blair has admitted for the first time that he has decided when he will resign as prime minister. However, he is not yet revealing the date.

The prime minister, who is currently in Australia, has until now never given any indication that he has privately fixed the date for quitting Downing Street.

He said back in 2004 that he would not fight a fourth general election, but has always stuck by the mantra that he will only quit when his job is done.

Senior allies of the prime minister have long believed that Mr Blair's declaration 18 months ago that he would not fight a fourth election was a grave error, transforming him into a lame duck premier.
