Microsoft may face daily EU fine

The European Commission has threatened to fine Microsoft up to 2m euros (£1.36m; $2.4m) a day until it gives rivals more access to its systems.
Brussels said the software giant had failed to supply adequate information about its server programs.

Microsoft has five weeks to provide improved documentation before the daily penalties are imposed.

M$ trys to hold on to its (ugly) code like a dying miser. Can't have other operating systems have access to the server, could we.

2. Go linux/open source

been a user since '94. It still astounds me why companys still use their crap. The best written code I've seen is open source, because the code is subject to public scrutiny (other developers) and better be good.
