As the recall effort picks up momentum, some say it is having a chilling effect on the state's overdue budget.

The recall drive is moving forward at high speed, but not the state budget. The legislature is at an impasse. Some Democrats accuse Republicans of stalling the budget process to help fuel the recall effort.

"I have no doubt," said Sen. Don Perata, D-Oakland. "That's the only plausible explanation for this impasse."

"I think there's a group of individuals who will do anything -- even if that means take the state over a cliff -- anything -- to attack the governor," said Assembly Speaker Herb Wesson. ---

saw one at my albertsons in Cathedral city, I let him have it. tell me when are we going to start recalling thugs? I'm sure they're not all in safe districts. The puke assembly person barely got in witha lot of last minute arguably legal $$. I'm sad to say the Dems here are weak and demoralized- no money either.

3. was watching it all today

They have a television station called The California Channel, www.calchannel.com .

I was watching it today as they were trying their best to get through the business agenda of the day - voting on various amendments etc.

At times it was really disgusting the way the pukes were bobbing their ugly heads and thwarting their useless comments at the people trying to do the work.

I can see they will attempt to use all of this to oust Davis. Whether they are successful or not, I suppose we shall see.

Frankly, I hope that Gray Davis, if it does come to an election, wins by more votes than before. I wasn't overly fond of him but voted for him anyway. Now I have become a rabid advocate!!!!

Idiot handed me a Recall petition, I signed it as "Tyne E. P. Ness". Then I looked the ass in his face and told him that I didn't want a steroid addict for governor!

I told the little born-again princess working for Issa that I couldn't understand why she thought I should sign a recall petition for Davis and D.A. Gallegos being I voted for them and they BOTH legitimately won!!!! They were NOT selected by the Supreme Court like GWB who is playing pResident and obviously has a lust for BLOOD AND LIES!!!!
