BBC:'14 killed' in Iraq bomb attacks
At least nine people have been killed in a roadside bomb explosion in eastern Baghdad, Iraqi police told the BBC.
The target was an elite police unit, they said. Five of the dead were reported to be police commandos.

Meanwhile a suicide attacker has blown himself up in a busy marketplace in the town of Hilla, killing at least five people, medical officials said.

Police quoted by Reuters news agency said the bomber cycled into the market before detonating his explosives.

Hilla, south of Baghdad, has been the target of several big bombings.

Suicide car bomb kills 13 elite Iraqi commandos
By Luke Baker

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A suicide car bomber attacked an elite Iraqi police unit in Baghdad, killing 13 commandos in the worst of several outbursts of violence to hit the country on Sunday.

Iraqi police said the car bomber targeted a patrol of police commandos as they traveled on a highway in the east of the capital. Ten commandos were also wounded, police said.

I wonder if this was the Wolf Brigade.

6. Bomber Hits Elite Police Unit in Baghdad
BAGHDAD, Iraq - A suicide car bomber struck an Interior Ministry convoy in Baghdad on Sunday, killing five police commandos and two civilians, police said.

Six members of the elite police unit were wounded in the attack in eastern Baghdad, police Col. Salam Abddelkarim said.

The attack on the police patrol came shortly after a bomb mounted on a bicycle killed one person and wounded 48 at a market in Hillah, a mixed Sunni-Shiite city about 60 miles south of Baghdad, Dr. Mazen Abdul-Sada at Hillah General Hospital said.

The explosion in Hillah appeared to target a music shop. Ultraconservative religious figures have deemed some music on sale in the country offensive to their interpretation of Islam.

In February, a suicide car bomber targeted mostly Shiite police and National Guard recruits in the city, killing 125 and wounding more than 140.

9. I have been wondering that too
at least supplying the bombers...keep the terror going the war going, thinning the population, removing the authorities, and young mens fighting force ability slowly decaying the infrastructure until we easily can displace the masses and own the country.

I am really starting to wonder.
