Prosecutors Seek Sealed Limbaugh Records

snip.....The records were seized in late 2003, as prosecutors looked into allegations that the conservative commentator went "doctor shopping" to illegally acquire pain medication. Limbaugh, 54, of Palm Beach, has not been charged with any crime and has denied any criminal wrongdoing.

Limbaugh's attorneys fought the seizures, claiming a violation of privacy rights. But last month the Florida Supreme Court declined to hear his appeal, clearing the way for prosecutors to finally look over the records....end

6. sometimes I think the
best we can hope for is that they will all share the same circle in hell. It has been a long time since we first heard about this, and the Plame outing, Enron, the Iraqi prisoner torture, etc, etc. and not one of these perps have been held accountable for their crimes

8. You and I would be in jail right now, but Rush is the mouthpiece for the..
* administration.

Nothing will happen to him at all.

One law for thee, and another for we.

10. I'd like to believe
that isn't true....

I'd like to believe the prosecutor in Florida will make an example out of Rush to prove the point that nobody is above the law.

12. I'd like to believe...
that I'll hit it big in the lottery.

That the Easter Bunny really does exist, and global warming doesn't.

In leprechauns.

That the Goddess loves me.

That I will have eternal life.

That my stupid dog won't try to make friends with any more skunks.

That John Kerry is in the White House.

22. Your post
has me

I know, I know, it's niave but there ARE some honest prosecutors out there....and, if not honest, we can always count on the greed factor. (e.g. a prosecutor who goes after a high-profile case to make a name for him/her self as a launcing pad for higher office..)

5. hmmm... no mention of his Drug Dealer wearing a WIRE
Wilma Cline, 42, says Limbaugh was hooked on the potent prescription drugs OxyContin, Lorcet and hydrocodone - and went through detox twice.

"There were times when I worried," Cline told the National Enquirer, which broke the story in an edition being published today. "All these pills are enough to kill an elephant - never mind a man."

...

Scoring in parking lot

Cline told the Enquirer she went to prosecutors with information about Limbaugh and others after four years of drug deals that included clandestine handoffs in a Denny's parking lot.

She said she wore a wire during her last two deliveries to the conservative commentator and gave the tapes to authorities.

much more...

21. luckily, Rush is no ordinary elephant - he's SuperJunkie!
interesting how the Rush-being-a-massive-drug-addict-hypocrite thing kinda died... then again, Rush has kinda died out - you never hear him referenced much in the "mainstream media," his listeners are just the diehards.

11. Those damn librul activist judges! I guess Delay & Co need to
create a special, one time law so that the Federal Courts can look at this. Then when they've all ruled against him, they can hold seminars in the mega-churches wondering why these activist judges support gay people but not Limpballs and screeching out to their followers to please donate, heavily so they can finally do something about these out of control courts.....
