Santiago de Chile, Feb 28 (Prensa Latina) Chilean Judge Juan Guzman continued charging at the military dictatorship´s former officials and ordered the detention of ex Interior Minister Enrique Montero for his involvement in the so called Colombo Operation.
Retired General Enrique Montero, who directed the ministry from 1982 to 1983, was detained at the Bosque Air Base on Monday, following his arrest for being an accomplice into four kidnappings during the military operation. <snip>
He is accused of involvement in the kidnapping of Juan Rosendo Chacon, Carlos Gajardo, Jorge Hernan Muller and Juan Carlos Perelman.
These four names are mentioned in an international operation -known as Operation Colombo or the Case of the 119, to cover up their assassination, along with 115 people who belonged to the Revolutionary Left-wing Movement. <snip>
