Lawyer blames police for Habib break-in
Former Guantanamo Bay detainee Mamdouh Habib's lawyer says he will seek compensation from the New South Wales Government after police revealed his client's address to the media.

Lawyer Stephen Hopper says a member of the New South Wales police force told a journalist where the Habib family was living in western Sydney.

Mr Hopper and a member of the Habib family went to the western Sydney home in the early hours of yesterday morning and found it had been broken into and several rooms had been disturbed.

He says the Habibs will have to move because their address has been revealed. <snip>
