Ambush claims 1 life, wounds 3 in Afghanistan

KABUL, Jan. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- An American soldier was killed and three others injured as suspected Taliban and the US-led troops came in contact in eastern Kunar province Monday, US army spokesman said.

For those murikans who forget that there's another war going on as well. There's a guy I talk to online who's in Asadabad, and actually spent last night talking to the Special Forces guy who got killed.

On a related note, he'll vouch for how full of shit Rumsfeld is about the armor issue.
