4. Is everyone aware that you can cast multiple votes in this poll?
I was not, until I followed the latest link and voted for a second time. As they used to say down in the Old Tenderloin, vote early and often.

7. You just refresh the page
and you can vote again. So this is basically an even crappier poll than most internet polls!

23. Refreshing page does not work
Refreshing page does not work.
If you look at the results when you vote the second time it says "Thank you, we have already counted your vote."

So the only way you could vote more than once you will have to delete either the Cookie or the Registry entry, I haven't figured out yet which one works.
I've been through thousands of Registry entries with no luck yet, will try cookies next.

6. I don't understand
the obsession people have wrt online polls that mean crap. Hell I don't even understand the obsession people have wrt real polls more than a year away from an election which mean crap.

Who has the time or energy to hunt around for online polls. The only thing that could possibly be more of a waste of time is bothering to email people telling them how to vote in online polls.

Whoever sent you three emails about this seriously needs to get a job, a life, a mate, a hobby or all four.

9. How stupid do they think people are
that they would condone a poll where you can easily vote over and over.

Then they make it super-easy by putting a "return to poll" link at the bottom of their poll box.

NPR has gotten worse every year and is nothing like it used to be.
I don't listen or contribute to it anymore.

10. why has Obama paid Fox for a commercial? Pushing back World Series!
Obama ad buy would push back start of a World Series Game 6
Major League Baseball agrees to delay the start by about 15 minutes to allow Fox to carry the half-hour program, which will also be shown on CBS and NBC stations.
By Meg James, Los Angeles Times Staff Writer|October 16, 2008
Major League Baseball agreed Wednesday to delay the start of a World Series game by about 15 minutes to make room for a television commercial that Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama plans to run Oct. 29.

That would be the date for Game 6 of the baseball championship, if a sixth game is necessary.

18. I was asking a question..now do we get slammed for asking a simple question?
Edited on Fri Oct-30-09 02:57 PM by flyarm
someone sent it to me asking me about it this morning ..a friend who deals in baseball..sorry I didn't look at the date..obviously that person didn't either.

so now we get slammed for asking a simple question???????????

I asked a simple question..you have a problem with that??????? a simple answer would havew been appreciated and sufficed..but since you seem to have found joy in following me around the past 24 hours and attacking me, I understand what you are doing and what you are about.

wow .. some are getting rather pathetic around here.

13. Who really cares?
With all the issues we're facing today, does spending time on web-polls, especially one on "President Obama vs Fox News" do anything other than make the participant feel good?

17. Seriously what is the point of the "DU this poll?"
Edited on Fri Oct-30-09 12:21 PM by newtothegame
We complain that people can vote more than once in this poll, but then we're posting "DU this Poll" here for every single poll we find online everyday. We complain about unscientific polls, but then we're encouraging our fellow DU'ers to make every unscientific poll out there even more unscientific by flooding it with votes from DU. And for what? And if we're worried about the 'American Public' getting a false impression of the nation's views by a poll being "freeped," then what's our excuse when we flood the same polls with our votes?
