not as a campaign slogan, but as a force that's been around longer than our political systems, our country, our plans, our greed, and even our species.

Tomorrow, the tide will come in, and could bring in anything. Look around - everything that you see now? In 50 years it will all have changed. In 100 years you wouldn't recognize the place. In 250 years, no one will care about the thinks we worry about, or even remember. Who were the Republicans? What was Al Qaeda?

No one will know. It won't matter a single bit.

I understand the immediacy of your post, but I don't agree. Thinks won't always get better, and they won't always get worse, either. The ONLY thing you can count on is that they won't stay the same...
