| 78. New reports of NATO airstrikes SW of Tripoli and near Sirte |

Reuters - NATO warplanes have bombed an area southwest of the capital Tripoli, Libyan state television reports. It later said the alliance had also hit the city of Sirte - Gaddafi's hometown.
Quoting a military spokesman, local television said the bombardment was on the area of Al-Hira, 50km southwest of Tripoli, which had been hit by NATO attacks before.
