Thieves Use Backhoe In Attempted Bank Heist

Sacramento (CBS13) – Sacramento Police are investigating an attempted bank heist where the thieves used a backhoe to try and rip out an automatic teller machine.

They arrived to find an abandoned backhoe still in front of the bank and a heavily damaged ATM machine.

Despite the heavy equipment, the thieves could not remove the money machine.
