72. The conflict of interest laden corporate media will almost always promote
the corporate supremacist point of view.

Mega corporations are the corporate media's clients, the American People are just customers or mindless consumers; to be sold a product, candidate or down the river, most anything that furthers the interests of the former over that of that latter will be promoted as a good thing by the corporate media.

If they can't promote corporate supremacist interests due to fear of popular backlash, they will just ignore, distort or obfuscate the story.

The corporate media almost never mentions tax cuts for the wealthy as being a major contributing cause of and possible answer to these budget deficits and the hurting economy.

The bottom line is, the corporate media does not represent the best interests of the American People, they represent the best interests of corporations and weakening any union whether in the private sector or that of the public strengthens corporate dominance over the people and by extension "We the People's" government.

Thanks for the thread, Fozzeldick.
