utterly rewrote the lexicon of our social dialog. Politicians pay millions to 'consultants' in attempts do introduce terms and phrases and that golden term for a phrase 'the frame'. Yes, they did what no DC 'talent' could do. They did it por nada, not for a fee, not for a candidate, yet here it is, here is Obama talking about the 1% and the man had plenty of time to have mentioned that in the past yet he had not.
So let me know when the DNC stops doing 'test groups' to 'try out' new frames and phrases, when words do not matter in politics, when some OFA staffer changes the terms of the discourse, let me know.
For years on DU I hear 'the GOP knows how to work the media, why can't we frame the discussion like that'. Well OWS did just that.
